Year of the fire horse
Have you felt an acceleration in events and occasions this year? I don’t think I’ve stopped since the beginning of January, which began with an amazing L.A. Open at TAG, and a gallery-full art auction event. Personally, both of our children had 18 and 21 birthdays, and my own birthday was celebrating joining Touchstone Swarovski jewelry as a sales rep and brand partner. If you’d like to host a party or get-together, where you have a chance to win Tocara/Touchstone jewelry or Puralta skin care products, let me know!
Last weekend, I enjoyed being part of the Miracle Mile Ceramics & Art Pop-Up at the Fairfax Metro Station. It was wonderful having my artwork so near LACMA for a few hours! I wandered over there for a few minutes, and there were far more people and a lot more shade. I hope to return to the Fairfax Metro Station on August 2nd.
Today, I moved into my temporary July studio in the Miracle Mile Studios building next to TAG Gallery. I now have the opportunity to teach people painting, drawing, and art tips. I can work with all ages and most mediums, and am charging $50 per hour (1-hr minimum required). I am available Monday - Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm (classes to end at 7 pm) from July 18 to July 30. I hope to co-host an Open Studios event on Saturday, July 25th, so save the date! I have new and late projects to show then! Hope you’re having a wonderful year, and happy 250th year for America, to all.
